Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

This site was created in loving memory of our beautiful Kayla.
She was taken way too young, way too soon and way too senselessly from our lives.
She will live on forever in our hearts, through the enormous amount of love that will forever be felt for her.

Every Child Deserves a Lifetime

This bright young life
was a light in the world,
a candle of hope, warmth and laughter.
This bright young life
has departed too soon
but will shine in our hearts ever after
.

Kayla was one of the kindest and gentlest people you could ever meet.

She loved all animals, including reptiles and bugs from a young age, and could tell you anything and everything about almost any of them.

Her artistic ability was amazing, however Kayla was never one to try to show off her talent.  As much talent as she had as an artist, she kept it to herself.

Kayla had a heart bigger than the world, and never judged anyone. She was able to see inside herself clearer than most adults can, and often had some very profound thoughts. If we all could take even a little bit of the way Kayla saw things, the world would be a much better place.

Her legacy
The KYDA Campaign

Keep Young Drivers Alive (KYDA) was created in memory of Kayla, her 2 friends that were killed with her, and for the thousands of teens that die each year on our roads.  It is a campaign for change in current Colorado Graduated License laws, that will be stronger and more effective in saving the lives of our teens on the roads.

Kayla's Legacy
Kayla's legacy will be what those she left behind take from who she was.   If we could all take some of the kindness that she always showed, not only to people but to all living creatures, the world will be a better place.

She will live on when we remember that beautiful smile.

She will live on when we remember that contagious laugh so unique to Kayla--the laugh that for those who have heard it is unforgetable.

She will live on because those that loved her most will do whatever it takes to keep her memory alive.
